Yup, you read that right! Another round of product empties. I’m not gonna sit and ramble on or anything, as these posts really need no introduction now. Here’s another dozen products I’ve finished up over the last month:
Haircare
Herbal Essences Daily Detox Volume Dry Shampoo
Pros: Love the fresh, invigorating scent of this, the citrus and mint feels stimulating, super inexpensive, no white residue, absorbs excess oil, free of parabens and colourants, don’t get as much product build up with this as I do with other dry shampoos
Cons: Doesn’t give my hair much volume like it suggests
Repurchase? Yes.
Skincare
Nivea MicellAIR Water for Dry and Sensitive Skin
Pros: Easily and effectively removes all of my makeup, very gentle as it is designed for dry and sensitive skin, leaves my face feeling fresh and clean, no product residue, fragrance-free, great value for the price
Cons: Nothing
Repurchase? Yes.
Pros: Feels very refreshing and hydrating on the skin, brightens and tightens my skin, really nice to use first thing in the morning, smells great (the smell alone perks me up), cruelty-free
Cons: Keep your eyes squeezed shut or else this stuff will burn them
Repurchase? Yes, but not right away.

e.l.f. Cosmetics Acne Fighting Spot Gel
Pros: Did help with redness, convenient to use, roller works well, very affordable, cruelty-free
Cons: Roll-on can be contaminating, didn’t really speed up the healing process or prevent breakouts, was overall underwhelmed after reading so many great reviews
Repurchase? Undecided.
Origins High-Potency Night-A-Mins Oil-Free Renewal Cream
Pros: Luxurious night cream that is worth the price tag, eliminates any dryness and dullness, smoothes my skin and leaves it looking and feeling healthier, a little goes a long way, love the scent of this, has the ‘Clean at Sephora’ stamp
Cons: Minor cons: In a jar (contaminating) and pricey Major Cons: They’ve reformulated it and added fruit-derived AHAs, and people are not happy
Repurchase? I’d like to try a sample of the new formula, but with all of the negative reviews I probably won’t repurchase this now. Why change a good thing?!
Bath & Body
Le Petit Marseillais Lavender Honey Extra Gentle Shower Crème Body Wash*
Pros: Lathers up well, washes off easily, leaves skin feeling soft and clean, pH balanced, good evening body wash as the scent is relaxing, scent lingers for quite awhile, affordable
Cons: Though the scent lingers, it can be overpowering at times
Repurchase? Maybe.
Freeman Bare Foot Lavender + Mint Foot Scrub
Pros: Really gritty scrub to effectively smooth rough feet, massages the feet which feels great, perks up tired feet, smells good, affordable
Cons: Would forget to use this
Repurchase? Yes.
Live Clean Argan Oil Replenishing Body Lotion*
Pros: Very moisturizing, replenishes the skin and leaves it soft, smells amazing affordable, eco-conscious, free of any harsh ingredients, 98% plant derived, vegan, cruelty-free
Cons: Because it is a more natural body lotion it does need some time to sink in
Repurchase? Yes. I love the entire Argan Oil range that Live Clean does.

Makeup
Essence Prime + Studio HD Hydra Primer Spray
Pros: Good hydrating primer, refreshes the face, dries well on the skin, my makeup wore great over top, also love spraying my makeup sponge with this to blend in my foundation and concealer, affordable, cruelty-free
Cons: Says you can refresh your makeup with this, but I would avoid doing this, as the spray on it isn’t the greatest
Repurchase? Yes.
Physicians Formula Conceal Rx Physicians Strength Concealer in ‘Fair Light’
Pros: Maximum coverage concealer that conceals everything from dark circles to blemishes to any sort of discolouration, a little goes a long way, cruelty-free
Cons: Do have to take your time blending this out or it can look cakey/settle into fine lines, poor colour selection
Repurchase? Yes.
e.l.f. Cosmetics Waterproof Lengthening & Volumizing Mascara
Pros: Very natural mascara if that’s what you want, doesn’t bleed or flake, easy to remove despite being waterproof, affordable, cruelty-free
Cons: Did nothing in terms of lengthening or volumizing (the e.l.f. website says they’ve improved the formula, so I may have had the old one), really only tints my lashes, not a fan of the small brush on this, once it started to dry out the product would clump badly on the brush
Repurchase? No.
Pros: Absolutely love how this mascara makes my lashes look, great brush that fans my lashes out and coats them from root to tip, gives me volume that looks natural and not clumpy, no issues with flaking or bleeding, worked great right until the end, buildable formula, affordable
Cons: The product can collect around the lid, so you will need to wipe it, so it can close tightly
Repurchase? Yes! This is one of my favourite drugstore mascaras.
