Things have been busy and exciting on my end, but I’m trying not to forget about my blog in the process—especially when I have more product empties to share! I have so many products I’m nearing the end of, which honestly excites me, as I constantly mention on here how I am trying to downsize my collection. Here’s what I’ve finished over the last couple of months:
Pros: Fragrance-free, doesn’t irritate my scalp from the product buildup like most scented dry shampoos do, inexpensive, no white residue, absorbs excess oil
Cons: Doesn’t refresh your hair in terms of smell since it’s unscented
Pros: Helps give my fine hair more volume and texture, smells great, lathers up well, leaves my hair feeling clean, affordable, eco-conscious, free of any harsh ingredients, 98% plant derived, vegan, cruelty-free
Pros: Doesn’t strip my skin, non-irritating, gentle yet effective, easily cleans my skin and removes makeup, little goes a long way, soap-free, fragrance-free, free of any harsh ingredients, 99% natural, cruelty-free
Pros: Very hydrating, helps lock in moisture, soothes the skin, great option for after being out in the sun, feels weightless on the skin, smells great (randomly reminds me of old-fashioned lemonade), vegan, cruelty-free,
Cons: Pricey, don’t get a ton of product for the price
Repurchase? No. It’s a fabulous product, but it’s out of my price range.
Pros: Contains 98% certified organic aloe vera, really effective in soothing a sunburn, gives my skin a ton of moisture, eco-conscious, dye-free, fragrance-free (but smells like maraschino cherries to me, which I love), free of any harsh ingredients, 98% plant derived, vegan, cruelty-free
Cons: It’s not a smooth gel, so it does takes a bit more time to rub into the skin, pricier than other drugstore aloe vera gels
Pros: Smells great, lightweight, absorbs quickly, great for handbag, love the whimsical packaging
Cons: Not effective for super dry hands
Repurchase? Yes, but not right away.
Bath & Body
Pros: Foams up really well, good option for those that don’t like to use a loofah, smells good, affordable, eco-conscious, free of any harsh ingredients, 98% plant derived, vegan, cruelty-free
Cons: Feel like I went through this fast, as I had to use quite a few pumps of this every time I showered
Repurchase? Probably not, just because I much prefer Live Clean’s regular body washes.
Pros: Really pretty golden shimmer lotion that leaves my legs looking luminous and healthy, moisturizing, love the rose and ginger scent
Cons: Would always forget to use this
Pros: Sheer to medium coverage, gives my skin a radiant glow, looks natural on the skin, leaves my skin looking dewy and not oily, moisturizing, wears great all day long, perfect shade match, contains SPF 30
Cons: Once it was past its expiry date it started to break me out (I still held onto it for way too long aka until now)
Repurchase? Yes, but I would be more adamant in using it up before the expiry date!
Pros: Waterproof, affordable, cruelty-free
Cons: Claims to cover tattoos, but barely covered anything, didn’t blend well into my skin and creased, clung to dry patches, not a fan of the scent
Pros: Looks incredibly natural on the skin, sets makeup perfectly, reduces shine significantly, mattifies the skin, very affordable, cruelty-free
Cons: Wish it had a mirror for on the go touch ups, tend to go through this product pretty quickly, powder has a tendency to break once you hit pan on it
Pros: Good festive scent, love the bottle
Cons: I started to get sick of this scent towards the end, limited-edition
