Well, well, well, look what we have here—more products I have recently used up! I feel like my Product Empties posts don’t even need an introduction anymore, as you all know the drill by now.
So, let’s just cut to the chase and dive into what products I’ve used up:
Pros: Smells amazing, inexpensive, no white residue
Cons: Don’t find it as effective as other dry shampoos
Repurchase? Yes, it’s my go-to cheap dry shampoo.
Pros: Smells great, get a ton of product for the price, gives my hair a ton of hold without making it feel sticky or crispy, offers 24 hour humidity resistance
Pros: Easily removes dirt, oil and makeup, suitable for all skin types including sensitive, contains no oil, alcohol or fragrance, affordable, get a ton of product for the price
Cons: Wouldn’t say this completely dissolves waterproof makeup like it claims
Repurchase? Yes, but I do prefer the original Garnier All-in-1 Micellar Water over the waterproof.
Pros: Only ingredient is 100% pure, organic argan oil, good for all skin types, multipurpose, leaves skin, hair and nails hydrated, nourished and healthier
Cons: Expensive, the pipette actually broke off from the lid and seeped black stuff into the oil (luckily, I was near the end of it)
Repurchase? Probably not. It’s a great oil, but you can get 100% pure, organic argan oil for a lot cheaper elsewhere.
Pros: Helps heal and protect dry skin, very moisturizing, rich, but non-greasy, I like the smell of this, affordable, good travel size
Cons: Has a horrible ingredient list—contains petrolatum (obviously), as well as ingredients like parabens and liquid paraffin
Repurchase? Unlikely, as I had bought this in a pinch. It’s a good lotion, but the ingredient list does turn me off.
Pros: Helps prevent sunburn with SPF 50, uses an air-powered system instead of chemical propellants, goes on clear, water and sweat resistant, hypoallergenic, contains aloe to help soothe the skin, contains no oxybenzone or parabens, 100% vegetarian ingredients, cruelty-free
Cons: Pricey, feels a bit sticky on the skin, didn’t like the smell of this even though it’s supposed to be fragrance-free
Repurchase? Probably not, as I much prefer the Alba Botanica Kids Continuous Spray Sunscreen SPF 50+*
Bath & Body
Pros: All natural, cruelty-free, vegan, handmade, exfoliates without being too gentle or too abrasive, effectively smooths and softens skin, non-irritating, promotes circulation and evens skin tone, love the matcha scent of this, matcha helps to detoxify the skin and helps combat bacteria and inflammation
Cons: Can be a bit messy to use, can only get this online
Pros: Smells amazing, lathers up well, washes off easily, leaves skin feeling soft and clean, pH balanced, affordable
Cons: Can’t think of anything
Repurchase? Yes, but not for awhile, as I have a ton of body washes to use up first.
Pros: Evens out skin tone, paraben-free, cruelty-free, inexpensive, smells like hot chocolate, dry skin is nonexistent for me with this product, skin feels incredibly soft
Cons: A lot of times it is not in stock
Pros: Offers great, lightweight coverage, long-wearing, looks natural on the skin, diminishes the appearance of pores, fine lines and uneven skin tone, hydrating, firming, self-adjusting shade means it matches my skin perfectly
Cons: Pricey, this got really weird and watery near the end
Repurchase? Yes, when I have the money for it. Also! Make sure you cut this open when you get to the end of it, as I couldn’t believe how much product there was still inside.
Pros: Super-concentrated treatment concealer that offers plenty of lightweight coverage, under eye looks brighter and more radiant, doesn’t crease, lasts all day
Cons: Sponge on this doesn’t seem the most sanitary, feel like I went through this really fast
Repurchase? Yes, but probably only if it’s on sale.
Pros: Love the brush on this, gives my lashes a ton of length and volume, separates my lashes and goes on clump-free, doesn’t flake or smudge, easy to use on lower lashes, affordable, cruelty-free
Cons: Didn’t actually get to finish this product because the wand broke off inside the tube (see above photo), though to be fair, I am a little rough with my mascaras
Repurchase? Yes, as it is such a great, affordable mascara. However, if the wand breaks again on me, then I probably won’t repurchase it after that.
