Testing Out the ISA Professional Titanium Flat Iron Hair Straightener

Now, can you say that name 5 times fast? I may not be able to, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that I have been loving this flat iron by ISA Professional. This company set out to create salon quality hair tools that deliver in both performance and customer satisfaction, and so far, I can confidently say I’m pretty satisfied.

I’ve been testing out the ISA Professional Titanium Flat Iron Hair Straightener* for the last couple of months and it’s a total game changer in the world of hair styling tools. Not only do I love the design of it, but it also performs extremely well too. To hear more about my thoughts on the design and performance of this flat iron just carry on reading!

The design of their Titanium Flat Iron Hair Straightener* is pretty much flawless in my opinion. It has a neon background LCD display, which comes on as soon as you plug it in saying ‘OFF’. Once you press the power button, which is located along the side, it heats up in a matter of seconds. You can set the temperature on this to anywhere between 265 to 450 fahrenheit—I have mine set to 355 fahrenheit, which it automatically heats up to whenever I turn it on. To adjust the temperature you simply do so by clicking the (+) or (-) on either side of the power button.

The one negative is I do wish the neon background only came on when you pressed the power button, as I always think the straightener is on and hot when I see that green light. However, this does have an auto shutoff after 1 hour, so if you are out and suddenly get hit with that wave of panic that you left your flat iron on, at least you can breathe easier knowing it’ll eventually shut itself off. What I especially love about the design though is how the buttons are located on the side, as I find that a lot of hair tools have the buttons located on the top, making it easy to accidentally shut your hair tool off while you’re using it. Not only are the buttons on this flat iron conveniently on the side, but you also have to hold the power button on this for a couple of seconds in order for it to shut off, making it even less likely that you’ll accidentally turn this off while you’re using it.

Sure, the design of this is great, but how it performs is ultimately more important. I seriously could not believe how easy and quick I could style my hair with the Titanium Flat Iron Hair Straightener*. Whether I wanted my hair straight or curly, I could achieve either style in just a few minutes, thanks to 4.5″ tapered plates, which allow you to style larger sections of hair and thus, shortening styling time. My hair feels so much softer and smoother after using this flat iron and it also does not make my fine hair feel staticky afterwards. Speaking of fine hair, this is also so gentle on it, as I always have issues with flat irons that tug and pull on my fine hair (even more so when I’m trying to curl my hair with a flat iron), but this flat iron does not do that at all.

Whether straight or curly, you can easily achieve either hairstyle with this flat iron.

The ISA Professional Titanium Flat Iron Hair Straightener* retails for $299, but is currently on sale for $129. It offers free shipping worldwide and all of their tools have a 2 year warranty.

If you do curl your hair quite a bit, then I also recommend the ISA Professional Heat Resistant Curling Glove*, which is made from high-tech DuPont NOMEX, which is the same textile used by firefighters to help protect them. This lightweight glove can be worn on either hand and stretches to fit XS to L. It retails for $19.99, but is currently on sale for $12.99.

If you’re in the market for a new flat iron, then I highly recommend the ISA Professional Titanium Flat Iron Hair Straightener*—I really can’t rave about it enough!
