As much as I would rather not be stuck at work and instead out and enjoying the warm weather, it does mean when there is some downtime at my job I can work a bit on my blog.
Today, I have a dozen more product empties to share with you! Here’s what I have recently used up:
Pros: Affordable, smells summery and like vacation, absorbs any excess oil, volumizing, love the new packaging
Cons: Can leave a white residue, can make my scalp itchy when I have been using it too much
Pros: Affordable, smells so pretty, absorbs any excess oil, volumizing, does not leave much white residue, love the packaging
Cons: Can make my scalp itchy when I have been using it too much
Repurchase? Yes, I absolutely love this scent!
Pros: Gives my hair decent volume and texture, a little goes a long way, affordable
Cons: Do not like the smell of this, makes my hair feel gritty and like it needs to be washed, not a huge fan of using powders on my hair in general
Pros: Refreshing, perks up the skin, love the mist on this, water stays cold and uncontaminated in the can, soothes and calms any redness and irritation, great for soothing a burn, very gentle and suitable for sensitive skin
Repurchase? Already have!
Pros: Easily cleanses the skin and effectively removes dirt, oil and makeup, soap-free (doesn’t strip the skin), love that this does not lather (personal preference), 97% natural, cruelty-free
Cons: Did not really do much in terms of brightening the skin and combating dullness
Repurchase? Yes, but I do prefer the Burt’s Bees Sensitive Facial Cleanser.
Pros: Contains 25% vitamin C which fights the signs of aging, combats dullness and made my skin more firm, lightweight, sinks quickly into the skin, wears well under makeup, contains no nasty ingredients, fragrance-free, cruelty-free, vegan
Cons: Can only get this on Amazon, pipette on this could be better
Repurchase? Yes, but not right away.
Bath & Body
Pros: All natural, cruelty-free, vegan, handmade, exfoliates without being too gentle or too abrasive, effectively smooths and softens skin, non-irritating, promotes circulation and evens skin tone, coffee acts as a stimulant which helps firm skin and reduce the appearance of cellulite
Cons: Messy to use, can only get it online
The Body Shop Vanilla Chai Foaming Bath
Pros: Smells delicious, foams up well, like the consistency of this, non-irritating
Cons: Bubbles do not last, seasonal scent
Repurchase? Probably—not because it’s the best bubble bath, but because I love the scent of this.
Pros: Smells delicious, affordable, free of a lot of harsh ingredients, pH skin compatible, softens skin, bubbles up well in the bath and the bubbles last, lathers up well and leaves skin feeling clean (I didn’t try this as a shampoo)
Cons: I honestly can’t think of anything
Repurchase? Yes! These are so good!
Pros: Effectively conceals, primes and enhances eye shadow all-in-one, can also apply under the eye, smooths out skin, prevents concealer and eye shadow from creasing and prolongs wear of both, little goes a long way
Cons: Consistency of this is a little weird and takes some getting use to (but it’s totally worth it!)
Pros: Finely milled powder that easily sets and brightens the under eye area, blends easily into the skin, blurs fine lines, prevents concealer from creasing, contains vitamins C and K, affordable, cruelty-free, can remove the sifter so you can use up every last bit
Cons: Small size makes it a little awkward to use, the brush it comes with is absolutely useless, wish the shimmer in this was more finely milled
Repurchase? Yes, but not right away.
Pros: Looks incredibly natural on the skin, sets makeup perfectly, reduces shine significantly, mattifies the skin, very affordable, cruelty-free
Cons: Wish it had a mirror for on the go touch ups, I go through this very quickly, compact broke on me
I hope you all have been having a great week so far! As always, you can read my last Product Empties post here.
