I find that when it comes to skincare, eye creams are one of the hardest products to shop for, as they almost always never live up to their claims.
I have been on the hunt for a good eye cream for years, as I need something that’s gentle, but offers more than just your basic eye cream. I have always struggled with my under eye area in regards to dark circles and discolouration, and when my allergies are acting up I am prone to puffiness as well.
If you’re not aware Natural JOE is all natural, organic, cruelty-free, vegan and made right here in Toronto. I have already raved about the joeSCRUB Coffee, Matcha and Charcoal Scrubs in this blogpost, so I had high hopes for this new release.
The key claims of the Organic Camu Camu Under Eye Nectar* are to reduce the signs of aging while energizing tired skin. The main ingredient here is camu camu—a berry from the Amazon that is similar to that of a cherry—which is rich in antioxidants and vitamin C. Paired with it is coffee powder, which stimulates and increases blood circulation and the two together work to de-puff the under eye area and reduce the appearance of dark circles. The other ingredients are aloe vera—which is soothing and restores suppleness—and chamomile, sweet orange essential oil and geranium essential oil, which are all anti-inflammatory.
After only a few weeks of using this product I have already noticed a difference. My under eye area looks much more awake and brighter and I have had no issues with annoying puffiness since I started using this. I also love the serum consistency, as it feels really cool and soothing on the eye area. The pipette on this is also great, as it allows you to control the amount of product you want and it keeps the product uncontaminated.
The full size (30mL) of this product retails for $50.00 and is currently on sale for $40.00! On top of that, Natural JOE was kind enough to give me a code to share with you guys! Use ELLEROW at checkout to receive 25% OFF your entire purchase. This code is good until February 28, 2017.
I hope you all had an amazing Sunday! And let me know what eye products you recommend!
