As I am approaching my late 20s, taking care of my skin and body has become so much more important to me than it was in my early 20s. And I am a firm believer that you should start early in taking the preventive measures possible to help prevent wrinkles. This goes for not only diet and exercise, but also having a good skincare routine that contains the right ingredients your skin needs.
The Nivea Q10plus range promises to visibly reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, yielding a smoother, softer and more refined complexion. The range contains energy coenzyme Q10, which is something our body naturally produces, but starts to decline with age. This antioxidant helps reduce free radical damage, which causes aging and helps with skin repair. Creatine is the other main ingredient, which helps with skin cell turnover and increases the elasticity in the skin.
I have incorporated three of their products into my winter skincare routine and have been loving the way my skin both looks and feels. To hear more about these products, carry on reading!
Nivea Q10plus Anti-Wrinkle Day Cream with SPF30* I have been using this moisturizer almost daily and I love how it leaves my skin looking and feeling instantly hydrated and refreshed. It is a rich cream, but not too rich in the sense that it leaves me looking oily or simply sits on top of the skin. My skin feels softer and more supple and this cream wears great underneath makeup. The SPF30 is an added bonus, but you can also get the Nivea Q10plus Anti-Wrinkle Day Cream, which does not contain SPF.
Nivea Q10plus Anti-Wrinkle Replenishing Pearls* My favourite out of the three is definitely this serum. It’s so lightweight, yet powerful, in that it instantly smoothes and perfects my complexion and leaves my skin looking more awake and refreshed. The pearl technology allows the Q10plus to be freshly activated making it even more effective and it also contains hyaluronic acid, which is praised for its anti-aging properties and works well with all skin types. I also love that this is in a pump and not a tub, which is the only downside of the other two products.
Nivea Q10plus Anti-Wrinkle Night Cream* This is a super rich night cream that intensely hydrates and rejuvenates the skin over night. It’s a little too rich for my skin to use every night, so right now I alternate it with the Aromic Citrusy Nighttime Face Oil* and the combination of the two leaves me with smoother, softer skin that looks much less sallow. I also love applying this on my neck (which is a place a lot of people tend to neglect), as the skin is thinner here, meaning it tends to show signs of aging quicker and this cream gives this delicate area a much needed boost of intense hydration.
Have you tried anything from the Nivea Q10plus range? What are your thoughts?
