Happy Thanksgiving to all my fellow Canadians! I had a great Thanksgiving weekend celebrating mine and my boyfriend’s anniversary Friday, exploring a haunted house Saturday, Sunday I had my family’s Thanksgiving and then Sunday night the Toronto Blue Jays swept the Texas Rangers, advancing to the ALCS.
However, Sunday night I started to come down with something and have woken up this morning with a terrible bug that just seems to be getting worse. So, I am pretty bummed I have spent most of Thanksgiving Monday in bed and am missing my boyfriend’s Thanksgiving.
Anyways, I still wanted to get this blogpost up before Thanksgiving was officially over. Along with being thankful for the obvious things (family and friends), today I thought it would be fun to share beauty products I am thankful for.
Cleansing Water
This is one of those products that I have no idea how I ever previously survived without them. They gently remove dirt and makeup and get anything that my cleanser may have missed. I use them both day and night and they have made a huge significance in my skin. A lot of them are suitable for sensitive skin and and fact you can use it on your eyes without any irritation is a huge plus.

Lip Treatments
I feel like no matter what time of year it is, I am always complaining about how dry my lips are. However, during the fall and winter months is when my lips get seriously dry and flaky and a basic lip balm just won’t cut it. Lip oils and products with a more mask consistency give my lips the nourishment they need and paired with a lip scrub my lips are left smooth, soft and moisturized.

Primer
I don’t use primers everyday, but whenever I do use one I remember why they are so important in your beauty routine. A good primer will glide over and into your skin, perform as it promises and not only make your makeup go on better, but last longer throughout the day. So, whether I need help with minimizing oil, smoothing out uneven texture or neutralizing discolouration—I’ve got a primer that I know has got my back.

Brow Products
As silly as this may sound, the fact my eyebrows are pretty non-existent is definitely something I am self-conscious about. Eventually, I will work up the courage to go get them tinted, but until then, brow products have been an absolute saviour. The confidence I get after filling in my brows is crazy and I feel so much more put together when they are filled in—whether I go for a bold brow or keep it more natural with a quick swipe of tinted brow gel. I also love that we are now spoiled for options when it comes to brow products.

Contour and Bronzer
Lastly, I have to mention contour and bronzer. These products just add so much more dimension and life to my face and really take things to the next level. Whether I choose to contour my face and sharpen my features or just sweep some bronzer all-over for a healthy glow, it completely transforms my whole face. I have also started contouring my nose and it is a serious game changer.
