Sunday Stuff | Volume 3

Happy Sunday! It’s been ages since I’ve done another ‘Sunday Stuff’ instalment and I have definitely been craving a little pampering between summer school and work. So, having today off I definitely wanted to take advantage of the morning and devote it to some much needed pampering.

Here’s the main stars that I used this morning to take me from ‘blah’ to ‘ahh’.

Purederm Age Defying Collagen Masque Sheet masks seem to have taken the beauty world by storm and I figured it was about time I finally tried one. Despite feeling a little awkward and looking like Hannibal Lecter wearing this, I have definitely been converted to sheet masks. This mask helps diminish the signs of aging by replenishing and nourishing the skin with collagen, vitamin E, green tea extract and tropical fruit. Right after using this mask my skin felt firmer and much more hydrated and looked significantly healthier—I definitely want to try more sheet masks by this Korean brand.

joeSCRUB Coffee Scrub In the shower I exfoliated my body with this amazing, all-natural scrub that I have raved about in a couple of blogposts now (you can read them here and here). After wetting my skin I apply a thin layer of this scrub allover my arms and legs. I then let the product sit for about 5 minutes, so the ingredients have a chance to sink into the skin before scrubbing it off. I am instantly left with smoother, softer, more illuminated skin.

Live Clean Apple Cider Clarifying Shampoo I think today was day 5 of unwashed hair (sorry, not sorry), so it was definitely time to give my mane a wash. This is my favourite shampoo for getting rid of product buildup and leaves my hair feeling clean and so much lighter. I also love the apple scent of this and the fact it has no nasty ingredients.

Live Clean Exotic Nectar Argan Oil Treatment Out of the shower I applied a bit of this treatment to the ends of my hair. The heat has definitely made my hair more dry and the ends of my hair have been super frizzy. This oil fixes that and leaves me with smooth tresses. This product has more of a gel consistency than an oil which I really enjoy.

Essie Nail Polish in ‘Haute in the Heat’ This is easily one of my favourite nail polishes to wear on my toes during the summer months. I strayed from it for a little while, but as soon as I reached for it today I realized just how much I missed it. This hot guava shade is so vibrant and is opaque in just one coat. I also think it looks especially great with a tan.

And lastly, no morning would be complete for me without a cup of tea. I recently repurchased the Stash Chocolate Hazelnut Decaf Tea and it’s pretty much a dessert in a cup. I add a bit of raw honey to bring out more of the chocolate flavour and add a splash of unsweetened almond milk—heaven!

I hope you all have a great, relaxing Sunday! What products have you been using recently when it comes to pampering yourself?
