It’s the most wonderful time of the year…
No, really, it is! I love Christmas and everything leading up to it—I just feel so happy, thankful and cozy. I also love buying gifts for people, but I think a lot of people put a lot of stress on themselves thinking that a gift is only good if it cost a lot of money. Which is so not true! I love receiving small, thoughtful gifts like baked goods or my favourite tea and I have always enjoyed opening my stocking more than the ‘bigger’ gifts under the tree.
So, today I am sharing my ‘Christmas Gift Guide for Her’. Everything is under $25 and these are all things I would—personally—be thrilled to receive (hint, hint family, friends and boyfriend). So, if you are shopping for a particular female this holiday season and need some inspiration or ideas, then carry on reading!
1. Paperchase Pressed Flower Phone Case – $21.50
A new phone case is always a great gift idea because I find when you are younger you want a million and once you’re older you just use the same phone case until it has seen better days. This adorable translucent case has three real daisies pressed inside it and I think it is just so dainty and unique. It also comes with a screen protector and is made for the iPhone 5 and 6.
2. M.A.C Lipstick – $20.00
Okay, shock horror—I have never owned a M.A.C lipstick. Every time I visit the M.A.C counter I get too overwhelmed and indecisive. However, I think most beauty bloggers would agree that you can never have one too many lipsticks, especially when it comes to M.A.C. They have every shade and formula you could possibly want and at $20.00 it is a much more affordable, high-end lipstick. The shade shown is ‘Plumful’ which is a beautiful rose-plum shade in their lustre formula.
3. Indigo Time for Tea Set – $24.50 (currently on sale for $12.25!)
As an avid tea drinker, this is totally on my own Christmas wish list this year and something that I think any tea lover would absolutely love to receive. This set comes with a ceramic mug and stir spoon, a stainless steel infuser and a bamboo tray. To complete this gift just add their favourite loose leaf tea and you have a gift they are sure to love.
4. Deborah Lippmann Roses in the Snow Duo – $18.00
This little gift set by Deborah Lippmann comes with two mini nail polishes in two complimenting shades. I actually prefer mini nail polishes, as it’s very rare I ever finish a full-sized bottle. This set comes with ‘Modern Love’ which is creamy mauve shade and ‘Enchanted Evening’ which is a pink salmon glitter. The set is valued at $30.00 and the formula of these polishes strengthen and nourish the nails.
5. H&M Slippers – $17.99
I am all for cozy things this time of year and you can never go wrong with getting someone a cute pair of socks or slippers. These ones from H&M are absolutely adorable with a little grey fox wrapped snug around your feet. They are also super soft, anti-slip and well, how can you not feel cozy with something this cute on your feet?
6. L’Occitane Hand Cream Delights – $14.00
This four-piece set of travel size hand creams is such a great value for money and are housed inside a cute little tin. The set comes with their award-winning Shea Butter hand cream, Almond Delicious Hands (which smells good enough to eat), as well as Delightful Rose and Pivoine Flora. Dry hands will be non-existent this winter thanks to this set.
7. Lush Rosy Christmas – $14.95
Lush never fails having the cutest wrapped gift sets and it’s something that any bath lover will appreciate. This set comes with minis of their popular Rose Jam Shower Gel—which is back exclusively for the holidays—and the Ro’s Argan Body Conditioner. Both products have that lovely rose fragrance and both contain argan oil leaving you with super soft skin.
8. Kate Spade Infinity Adjustable Ring – $24.00
If you want to get someone a nice piece of jewelry that isn’t going to break the bank, then here you go. It’s gold-plated and since it’s adjustable it means you don’t have to worry about the sizing and it being too big or too small for them. The infinity sign also makes it personal if you are getting this for say your best friend or significant other.
9. Animal Kingdom by Millie Marotta – $16.95
Something that is on my own wish list this Christmas is an adult colouring book. These ones by Millie Marotta are visually stunning and there is so many different ones available. This is a particularly great gift for anyone that maybe needs to destress and rekindle their inner child. Colouring is extremely therapeutic and when the drawings are as gorgeous as they are in these books, it just makes the overall experience that much more enjoyable.
10. Talula Fulton Mitten – $12.00
I have raved about these mittens in this blog post last winter, but let me just reiterate that if you do not own a pair of these fleece-lined mittens you need to change that. These are the warmest mittens I have ever owned and no matter how cold it is outside my hands are always toasty in these. These mittens come in so many different colours, so you are guaranteed to find the perfect colour for someone.
11. Crystal Head Vodka 50 ml – $8.95
If you are shopping for someone who is of the legal drinking age and is known to enjoy a cocktail or two this little guy is the perfect stocking stuffer. Not only is Crystal Head vodka incredibly smooth and clean tasting, but the empty glass skull makes the perfect room accent. Mine is housed on my desk with some pink flowers in it and I adore it.
12. Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Glow on the Go – $24.00
Finally, something luxury for the girl who loves beauty, but keeps you within your budget. Unfortunately, this set has sold out online on Sephora, but you might be able to still get it in-store (the link above is for the Ulta website). The set is in their iconic shade ‘Opal’ which is a golden opal pearl and comes in both pressed and liquid. I love a good highlighter and who doesn’t want beautiful, glowing skin during the holidays?
I hope this was helpful and gave you some ideas when you are shopping this holiday season! Check back later this week for my ‘Christmas Gift Guide for Him’, which is also $25 and under.
