Believe it or not, I have already used up another dozen products. If you have been following my ‘Product Empties’ posts, then you know the drill so, let’s get to it!
What I have used up:
Haircare
TRESemmé Thermal Creations Heat Tamer Spray
Pros: Heat activated, smells great, sprays evenly, hair feels softer and looks shinier after using it, affordable
Cons: Can’t think of anything
Repurchase? Undecided, as I am currently using a cruelty-free heat protectant which I really like.
Boo Bamboo Anti-Humidity Hair Spray
Pros: Smells great, does not weigh down hair or make it sticky or crispy, holds hairstyle, protects against humidity, cruelty-free, paraben and DEA free, eco-friendly, all natural and organic ingredients
Cons: Nadda!
Repurchase? Already have!
Skincare
Yes to Blueberries Softening Facial Exfoliator
Pros: Fights free radicals, gentle exfoliator (if that’s what you want), free of parabens, petroleum and SLS, 99% natural, cruelty-free
Cons: Not a fan of the smell, found it didn’t really make my skin any smoother
Repurchase? No.
Burt’s Bees Sensitive Facial Cleanser
Pros: Soap-free, fragrance-free, non-irritating, gentle yet effective, easily removes makeup, moisturizing, little goes a long way, 99% natural, cruelty-free
Cons: I honestly do not have a bad thing to say about this product
Repurchase? Yes. I swear by this cleanser.
The Body Shop Nutriganics Smoothing Eye Cream
Pros: Reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, improves the tone and texture of the skin, moisturizing, non-irritating, lightweight, a little goes a long way
Cons: Can’t open the product to get the last bit of cream out
Repurchase? Yes, but I would want to try other eye creams first.
Clarins Daily Energizer Lotion SPF 15
Pros: Great moisturizer for everyday, sinks in really well, skin feels soft and more radiant, offers sun protection, comes in a glass bottle
Cons: Wish it was fragrance-free
Repurchase? Probably.
Amie Spring Clean Deep Cleansing Mask
Pros: Reduces the appearance of blemishes and pores, feels really cooling and refreshing on the skin, is not over-drying, affordable, cruelty-free
Cons: The peppermint in it can irritate dry patches
Repurchase? Yes.
Bath & Body
The Body Shop Tea Tree Body Wash
Pros: Soap-free, antibacterial, lathers up easily, promotes clearer skin, cleared up any blemishes on my chest, great for using after working out
Cons: Personally, I am not a huge fan of the smell of tea tree
Repurchase? Yes, come summer.
Pros: Extremely moisturizing, absorbs quickly, amazing health benefits, affordable, 100% pure botanical ingredients, cruelty-free
Cons: Doesn’t come in the large size (only 4 fl oz)
Repurchase? Yes.
The Body Shop Hemp Foot Protector
Pros: Extremely moisturizing, smoothes any roughness, restores skin’s moisture barrier, conditions the nails
Cons: Wish it came in a tube instead of a container
Repurchase? Yes.
