A Day at Home.

IMG_5377I am on reading week and so far it has been a chilly one. Today, I am staying indoors to catch up on some of my readings for school (shock horror—yes, I am reading on reading week). I thought it would be fun to share some of the stuff that has made an appearance today. IMG_5378

Not leaving the house means no makeup and minimal skincare. I have been loving the Nutriganics line from The Body Shop; particularly the eye cream and serum. Both are infused with babassu oil, which is very similar in properties to coconut oil, and helps to smooth and revitalize the skin. I especially love the serum as it leaves my skin feeling firm and one pump generously covers my whole face. Apparently, the serum is being discontinued, so if this is true I am going to have to stock up.

My nails have been in a sorry state lately, so I have been opting for nude nail colours. My favourite is Essie’s Topless and Barefoot, which is basically the perfect pinky nude in my opinion.

On my lips I am (still) loving the Malin + Goetz Mojito Lip Balm which I got in last month’s ipsy bag. Smells amazing and has helped my dry lips significantly.

Home + schoolwork = abundance of snacks. I love the BOOMCHICKAPOP by Angie’s as it is non-GMO and contains no weird ingredients. I scored a bag of this Valentine’s day flavour for 75% off at Target. It is so addicting and tastes like the sweet and salty flavour with a hint of strawberry vanilla. It also does not contain dairy.

I also drink a ton of tea when I spend a day at home and today’s choice is Four O’Clock’s Almond Biscotti. This white tea is seriously so good and I think it is becoming an addiction.

Last, but not least, what is schoolwork without procrastination? Hey, I did take a ‘break’ to do this quick blogpost. I just finished season 1 of Broadchurch, which I LOVED and will probably start season 2 in the next day or so. However, I have been itching to re-watch Wes Anderson’s The Grand Budapest Hotel. Never fails to make me laugh and I adore the cinematography.

Okay, now back to reading Shakespeare.
